TURMERIC RICE: The Sparkling Yellow Color Rice


Turmeric spice has a lot of healthy benefits including facts that it helps to prevent cancer, to delay aging and it's available for sale in various food stores and health shops across the world.

Try this sparkling yellow color rice today, and have no regrets at all. Switching up taste is always simple, especially when it's an healthy choice.

Ingredients for 4 servings


  • 2 cups of basmati rice
  • 2 tablespoon of canola oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 medium sized onion, diced
  • Knorr cubes
  • fresh or dried herbs (mints and parsley)
  • 2 tablespoons of Turmeric powder

Steps:

  • First, heat the oil in a pot, add the crushed garlic and onions. saute for about 30 seconds
  • Now add basmati rice, the herbs, turmeric spice and other seasoning. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes
  • Stir in water (preferably hot water), reduce heat and allow rice to steam so well, until well cooked.
  • Serve with any stew/ sauce of choice.
